Bavaria has brought a small world premiere to the Rhine in addition to several facelifts with the name suffix "Style" for the Cruiser 46 and 51 models. The Bavaria Cruiser 34, a revised version of the Cruiser 33, was shown there for the first time and now features double aft cabins. They are almost identical, only the footwell on the port side is slightly more restricted. As a result of this measure, which increases the total number of berths to six, the spacious bathroom of the Cruiser 33 has had to be reduced to the normal size for the class. Nevertheless, there is a smaller shower facility in the wet room.
Another new feature requested by the market is the double wheels. They allow you to sit far out with a good view forwards past the sprayhood to the headsail and the waves. Contrary to the original plans, the attachment points for the backstay have now been moved all the way aft in front of the transom edge. This means that the wires could interfere with the helmsman; a point that potential buyers should look at.
The price of the Cruiser 34 is significantly higher than its predecessor, with the basic version now costing 102,340 euros. The Cruiser 33 cost €74,850 when it was launched in 2012 and is now available for €89,845. However, the standard version already includes items such as a bathing platform with teak, teak on the dikes, anchor winch, hot water boiler, three AGM batteries and LED poses.
The boat can be seen at the joint Bavaria stand ("Bavaria World") in Hall 17.
